Hacking clocks with an Arduino
Hack a Day has an article about using an arduino to control a clock movement. I think this is very cool and handy. Basically you just attach the Arduino to the clocks coil and you can change it's speed and drive it to specific positions, much like you would a stepper motor. I know I have a clock movement laying around somewhere in my parts box and I haven't played with my arduino for a while so it might be time for some electronics hacking! Also might be time to work on my idea for a weather indicator so I know if I can ride my bike to work!
